About this policy

This policy explains how Remove Bg handles information when you visit remove-bg.cc, use an image tool, sign in, or make a purchase.

Information we collect

• Account details when you sign in, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We also record your IP address, approximate country, region and city, time zone, browser details, and sign-in time to help secure the service.
• Images, settings, results, and activity needed when you submit a request for image processing. Selecting a file for an on-page preview does not by itself submit it for processing.
• Purchase and credit records, such as plan, transaction, and invoice identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• Messages you send to support.
• Technical and security information, such as logs, timestamps, device details, and a keyed hash derived from your IP address for free-trial abuse prevention. The free-trial claim record does not store the raw IP address.
• Cookie and similar-technology data described in our Cookie Policy.

How we use information

We use this information to run and secure the site, provide requested image features, manage accounts and credits, process purchases, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We may also use site-usage information to understand and improve the service.

Who helps us provide the service

Depending on the features you use, information may be handled by Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Google for sign-in, WaveSpeed AI for image processing, Stripe for payment, and analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity when configured. We share information with these providers only as needed for the relevant feature.

Images and AI processing

A file you select may be shown as a preview in your browser. If you submit an image for processing, the image and related settings may be sent to the providers needed to create and deliver the result. Do not submit sensitive or confidential images unless you have permission and are comfortable with that processing.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies or local storage for functions such as sessions, security, and saved choices. When configured, analytics tools may help us understand site usage. See our Cookie Policy for the categories and ways to manage browser storage.

How long we keep information

Original uploads and processed results are stored to support your image requests and access to saved results. We do not currently promise a fixed automatic deletion period. Download results you want to keep. To request deletion of stored images, email support@remove-bg.cc from your account email and identify the relevant results; do not send sensitive image copies. Deleting your account does not itself guarantee immediate removal of stored image files or cancellation of a subscription. Payment, security, and support records may be retained as needed for accounting, disputes, security, or legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can use your browser settings to manage cookies and can contact us about your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive your information, or to object to certain uses. We will respond in line with applicable law.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States.

Children and policy changes

Remove Bg is not intended for people under 18. If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new update date.
